My name is Elayne,
I was born in Scotland and completed my Registered nursing education in Glasgow, I worked in Paediatric Intensive Care and Neonatal Intensive Care before moving to Australia in 2013

I am an AHPRA endorsed Nurse Practitioner with specialties in Neonatal & Paediatric care.

With over a decade of experience in the Australian healthcare system, I am a highly skilled Neonatal and Paediatric Nurse Practitioner, dedicated to providing advanced care to infants and children. I specialise in Paediatric Primary and Acute Care, Neonatal Care, Skin Conditions, Infant Feeding, Sleep and Development, and Neurodevelopmental care. My clinical practice spans high-acuity environments, including intensive care and community-based settings, where I prioritise family-centred, evidence-based care.

My passion lies in supporting families through the most critical phases of neonatal and paediatric care, offering comprehensive assessments, advanced treatment plans, and ongoing family education. I have an extensive background in clinical leadership, mentoring, and developing educational frameworks for neonatal nurses, all aimed at enhancing clinical practice and improving patient outcomes.

With a deep commitment to quality improvement, cultural competence, and patient advocacy, I am driven to ensure that every child receives the best possible care, regardless of their complexity or background. I remain actively involved in clinical research and guideline development, promoting the latest advancements in neonatal and paediatric care across local and international settings.
